Flax Milk
1/4 cup raw flaxseeds (or ½ cup ground flaxseed)
3 cups water
Optional: 2-3 pitted dates, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp cinnamon
Combine flaxseeds and 1 cup water in blender.
Blend on high for about a minute, or until all seeds are broken down.
Add the rest of the water.
Strain mixture through nut milk bag.
Place resulting milk back in the blender with dates, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon, if using.
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.
Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate.
Keeps for 3-5 days.
Shake well before using.
